Five Day Summer School starts first Monday of August

Originally held at West Dean College and Missenden Abbey, this exhilarating experience will literally change your life! Come as a couple, or on your own. (The course is held each year during Lyme Regis Carnival week, so there’s plenty to occupy other family members.)

Using a unique range of visualisation and drawing techniques, students will liberate their natural creativity, whilst enjoying a superb painting holiday in one of the most beautiful seaside towns in the world. You will learn how to prevent anxiety from suppressing inspiration and create huge, confident and often joyful images which will amaze you. The aim of the week is to enter a ‘pocket in time’ in which it is possible to radically re-invigorate ourselves as artists and people too.

The outstanding venue is Laurence Anholt’s magnificent studio just 150 metres from the sea at Lyme Regis, ‘Pearl of Dorset’. Delegates enjoy superb organic lunches and have the use of private bar and garden, games room including full size snooker table and table tennis, fully equipped gym and sauna. Local accommodation can be arranged. The Summer School runs for five days beginning on the first Monday in August each year.
