Laurence Anholt is a much sought-after public speaker and has performed at the Edinburgh Festival, International Schools Conference, Hay on Wye Festival, Society of Authors Annual Conference. This is a superb opportunity to take part in an intensive weekend course in which Laurence and Catherine Anholt unravel the secrets of the fascinating, frustrating world of children’s books from Inspiration to Publication. The course covers the entire writing process, approaching publishers and negotiating contracts. Acclaimed guest speakers are often included.

Previously held at West Dean College and Missenden Abbey, the courses now take place in the Anholts’ impressive private studios, 150 metres from the sea in Lyme Regis. Delegates enjoy superb organic lunches and have the use of private bar and garden, games room including full size snooker table and table tennis, fully equipped gym and sauna.
